I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Washington and am also a Child Mental Health Specialist. Through my process of obtaining my undergraduate degree in Education, I came to realize that I was often intrigued by the personal backgrounds and stories of the young people with whom I worked. As the years progressed and through working full-time for several years with junior high and high school students, I became increasingly aware of my strengths in connecting with people and providing a safe place where they could be known and find a sense of belonging. As a result, I decided to pursue a Masters of Counseling Psychology and entered into the counseling field. After graduate school, I worked as a Clinical Therapist at Ruth Dykeman Children’s Center (through Navos Mental Health) with youth who were in the foster care system and had significant trauma histories.

I am a natural communicator and listener. I am direct, yet compassionate and strive to meet each client/family where they are. I have a passion for hearing people’s stories and coming alongside them to help them make sense of their experiences and emotions. I find joy in the unique qualities of each of my clients and am compelled to find connection points with them. I truly believe in the therapeutic process as a means to health and wholeness and believe that every person can benefit from therapy.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my dog Tucker, paddle boarding, playing pickleball, being outdoors, participating in my book club, and finding new, cozy coffee shops. I love reading and connecting with friends and do these things as a means of self-care.
